Family Participation Program
Did you know that each SYT show requires hundreds of hours of volunteer
participation in order to be presented safely and successfully? Why not
join us in this great adventure? Families who choose to participate pay
a reduced production fee in recognition of the fact that they are helping
us to keep our costs down. At registration time, every family has a choice
of two payment options: a HIGHER production fee with no family participation
or a LOWER production fee ($100 OFF!) with 12 hours of family participation.
Families who put in more than the standard twelve hours can earn additional
awards:
- Every ten hours earned beyond the twelve hour minimum earns
a voucher for two free tickets to any SYT or Solano College Theatre
show over the coming year.
How to Volunteer:
Find a volunteer area that interests you and phone or e-mail the contact person listed (contact information below). You will then work out the details your volunteer schedule, specific duties, and how many hours you’ll earn with your team leader. If you can’t reach them, or their team is full, try something else! You are welcome to earn hours in more than one area it’s the overall total that counts. Then download a Volunteer Timesheet to
track your hours.
